Bert Ruiter

Bert Ruiter is a Dutch musician, best known for his work as a bassist and composer. Born on March 19, 1947, in the Netherlands, Ruiter gained prominence in the progressive rock and jazz fusion genres. He is particularly recognized for his contributions to the band Focus, where he played bass from 1970 to 1972, contributing to their critically acclaimed album "Moving Waves" (1971), which features the hit single "Hocus Pocus."
